At the top of the browse, data for single or multiple ads on one outlet is displayed as follows:
Internet Site / Market
When clicking the number or the icon in the instances column from the Ad Analysis, Advertising Expenditure and Share Report, for a report with Internet as the media type, the Instances Window opens displaying the following information:
Date - The Date column displays the date the creative appeared on the internet site.
Account - The Account column is normally used to denote the Campaign. Accounts can cover one or more observation of a creative.
Parent - The Parent column is generally the company that owns the Account or product being advertised.
Category - The Category column is used to describe the type of product.
Ad Network (if known) - This column displays the name of the Ad Network if it was detected. Our process looks at certain indicators on the web pages we capture in order to extract Ad Network information. Due to other factors that may not be present within those pages we are not always able to identify Ad Network.
Ad Server - The Ad Server displays the name of the Ad Server that served the ad. If the ad was sold by the Ad Network this column will display "server by Ad Network". If the ad was served by the local web site publisher this column will show no data.
Observations - Observations is the total number of times the unique creative was encountered by our data collection process on a specific web site and day. A higher Observation count may indicate that a given creative will be seen more frequently than a creative with a lower Observation count. This is mostly applicable when looking at observations on a single site, as differences in site traffic make comparisons in observations across sites harder to interpret.
Size - The Size column displays the size of the banner ad for internet instance.
Media - The Media column will display, where the advertisement is available to view, a hand icon that links to a copy of the creative.
Note: When opening the Instances window for Internet, the total Instances and Observations for the creative are displayed at the bottom of the window.
Use the Select Columns icon to open the Select Columns window. From this window select the columns to display in the Instances window. The columns may vary depending on the media type and filter options selected when running the report.
In the Media column, where ads are available to preview, click the hand icon to view the creative.
At the top right of the window, click the printer icon to print the contents of the results pane.
At the top right of the window, click the Excel logo to display the contents of the results pane in Excel spreadsheet format. The file is created with a default name derived from the search criteria and content. However, it can be saved off to any folder under any name in the usual way.
NOTE: This export feature is only supported for Excel 2000 or later versions
Use the Back button at the bottom left of the results pane to go back to the underlying results window.
